Imporant locations for the MSc Logic/ILLC

ILLC is distributed over 2 locations. The main office and the bigger part of the staff are located at the 'Science Park'. A part of the staff also belonging to the Faculty of Humanities is located at the 'Binnengasthuisterrein'. Some classes of the MSc Logic are also still given at the 'Roeterseilandcomplex'.

   How to reach the Science Park

If you travel by public transport

• Railway station Amsterdam Science Park is within walking distance from the faculty building. Please consult the NS website to obtain information regarding the train schedule.
• From Amsterdam Muiderpoort or Amsterdam Amstel railway station, take bus 40 to the Science Park.
• From Amsterdam Centraal you can take the subway to Amsterdam Amstel. Alternatively, you can take tram 9 to the Middenweg, get out at the Kruislaan and then take bus 40 or walk the rest of the way (1km).

If you come by car

• Take Ringweg Amsterdam (A10), exit 'Watergraafsmeer/S113', and follow the signs to 'Science Park'. On the Middenweg, take a right onto the Kruislaan.

   How to reach the Oude Turfmarkt

• The Oude Turfmarkt can be reached by public transportation as follows. Dependent on your starting point take tramline 4, 9, 16, 24 or 25 and get off at stop "Spui" (you can ask the driver to announce that stop). Coming from the Central Railway Station, the Spui is the second stop.
  The Oude Turfmarkt is accross the canal.
• Since parking spots are rare and extremely expensive in the area, we strongly advice against coming by car. If you nevertheless want to come by car, please contact the ILLC office for instructions.

   How to reach building P ('Euclides') at the Roeterseiland Complex

Plantage Muidergracht 24

• From Amsterdam Central Railway Station:
  Take tramline 9 (about every 10 minutes). Get off after a 10 to 15 minutes ride at stop 'Plantage Badlaan' (first stop after stop Artis Zoo). Turn right into Plantage Lepellaan. You see the building 'Euclides' in front of you at the end of the street. (2 minutes walking).
• From Amsterdam-Muiderpoort railway station:
  Take tram 14 to Plantage Badlaan. Turn left into Plantage Lepellaan. You see the building 'Euclides' in front of you at the end of the street. (2 minutes walking).
