After your defense and your diploma application at the Educational Office it will take about three weeks for the diploma and diploma supplement to be made. You will be informed when it is ready to be picked up. You have to do so in person as you have to sign it to make the document official. In case it is not possible for you to pick up your diploma from the Educational Office in person you can also have it sent to you.

First you contact the people at the Educational office telling them that you are going to have an express mail company pick up your diploma and supplement. Please clearly state the name and address where you want to have it delivered. They will make sure your documents are packed and ready.
Contact an express mail company such as FedEx or DHL. They can pick up the documents at: Roeterstraat 11 in Amsterdam, room C.206, preferably between 11.00 and 15.00 hrs, phone: +31 (0)20 525 7100.
Please let the people at the Educational Office know when they will pick up your package.

Please be fully aware that as soon as the documents leave the Educational Office, they are entirely your responsibility.
No duplicates are printed. If your documents do get lost, the Educational Office can supply you with an official statement of graduation that has the same status as the diploma.

As soon as you sign the diploma it is officially yours.
