A significant number of fundamental concepts that ar e ubiquitous in economics, social, and legal scien ces - such as value, risk, capability, good, servi ce, exchange, transaction, competition, social nor m, group, institution - have only recently been ap proached from a specifically ontological perspecti ve. It is therefore important to offer a venue to gather the recent contributions to this topic. Th is workshop is part of the Joint Ontology Workshop s (JOWO 2019), and relates mainly to two previous events (SoLE-BD and Ontology of Economics 2018). The goals of the workshop are: - to collect appro aches to deal with social, legal and economic enti ties in foundational and applied ontologies, - di scuss applications of these approaches to social, legal and economic entities in ontologies for biom edicine and business informatics, and - serve as a meeting point for stakeholders from applied onto logy and the respective domain disciplines. The w orkshop encourages submissions on both theoretical and methodological issues in the use of ontologie s for modelling social, legal and economic concept s and institutions, as well as submissions on conc rete use of ontologies in application for these do mains. Papers should be between 5 and 10 pages lon g be formatted according to the IOS Press formatti ng guidelines. X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
