There has been a recent m ove in philosophy of science towards views that in some sense reject the strict dichotomy between re alism and anti-realism, or otherwise situate thems elves between these two extremes. These include va rieties of structuralism, perspectivalism, and plu ralism/relativism, and have been applied across va rious scientific domains, including physics, mathe matics, biology, cognitive science, and computer s cience. This conference will bring together repres entatives of each of these viewpoints, in order to compare the respective progress made by each appr oach, and to develop a shared foundation for the f uture development of alternatives to traditional s cientific realism and anti-realism.
