In KRR a fundamental assumption is that a n agent's knowledge is explicitly represented in a declarative form, suitable for processing by dedi cated reasoning engines. This assumption, that muc h of what an agent deals with is knowledge-based, is common in many modern intelligent systems. In r ecent years KRR has contributed to new and emergin g fields including the semantic web, computational biology, and the development of software agents. The biennial International Conference on the Princ iples of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (K R) is a leading forum for timely, in-depth present ation of progress in the theory and principles und erlying the representation and computational manag ement of knowledge. Due to the latest development s in Greece with the COVID19 pandemic, the hybrid format (physical and virtual participation) that w as planned for KR2020 in September has been cancel ed. The new format, and possibly new dates, for KR 2020 will be announced shortly. For its 2020 edit ion, KR will solicit proposals for both the Tutori al and Workshop tracks. Tutorials and workshops wi ll be held prior to the KR main technical program, which will run from 12th to 18th of September 202 0. The attendance of tutorials is complimentary to all KR registered participants. Workshop attendan ce will be subject to payment of a workshop fee, w hich is separate from that of the main conference.
