The main general q uestions that will concern the workshop are: - Ca n argumentation provide the basis for computationa l models of human reasoning that are cognitively a dequate? - How can we form a synthesis between co mputational argumentation and theories of cognitio n that will give us models of computational cognit ion for the development of AI systems? Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ECAI-2020 will be held as a vi rtual conference, and so will the COGNITAR-2020 wo rkshop. We invite extended abstracts or long pape rs for contributed talks. We welcome position pape rs as well as ongoing and preliminary work on topi cs that bridge Cognition and Argumentation. Paper s should be written using the ECAI2020 style. Posi tion papers are expected to be short (2-4 pages). Long submissions should not exceed 7 pages plus o ne for references. X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
