Compu tability in Europe provides the largest internatio nal\n conference dealing with the full spectr um of\n computability-related research. CiE s erves as an\n interdisciplinary forum for res earch in all aspects of\n computability and f oundations of computer science, as well as\n the interplay of these theoretical areas with prac tical issues\n in computer science and with o ther disciplines such as biology,\n mathemati cs, philosophy, or physics.\n

\nCiE 2010 in the Azores is the sixth conference of the Series,\n held in a geographically unique and dramatic location, Europe's\n most Weste rly outpost. The theme of CiE 2010 - "Program s,\n Proofs, Processes" - points to the usual CiE synergy of\n Computer Science, Math ematics and Logic, with important\n computabi lity-theoretic connections to science and the real \n universe. The conference will address not only the more\n established lines of research of Computational Complexity and\n the interp lay between Proofs and Computation, but also novel \n views that rely on physical and biological processes and models\n to find new ways of t ackling computations and improving their\n ef ficiency.\n
