As far as the rel ationship between logic and metaphysics is concern ed, however, research has tended to focus on the n ominalist tradition associated with Ockham and Bur idan. The aim of this workshop is to redress the b alance a little by focussing instead on the realis t tradition that spans the 14th century. We have s ingled out for special mention the influential fig ure of John Wyclif, whose Logic is currently being re-edited here at St Andrews, but we welcome cont ributions involving other figures from Walter Burl ey to Paul of Venice.
