Postdoc Position in Ontology-Mediated Querying, University of Bremen (Germany)

Postdoc position available in the group of Carsten Lutz at the University of Bremen in the ERC-funded project "Custom-Made Ontology-Based Data Access". The project addresses ontology-based data access (OBDA) with description logics and other decidable fragments of first-order logic such as the guarded fragment. It brings together research in logic-based knowledge representation, database theory, and constraint satisfaction problems. We are interested both in candidates with a pure theory background and in candidates that are interested in system building.
