Two postdoctoral positions in multi-agents, Southampton (U.K.)

Applications are invited for two Research Fellows in the Intelligence, Agents, Multimedia Group, in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. The research positions will be associated with the Intelligent Decentralised Energy Systems (http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/research/projects/618) and the Aladdin (http://www.aladdinproject.org/) projects.

These are both large, collaborative projects concerned with the decentralized control and operation of complex, dynamic systems. The posts will be based in the Intelligence, Agents, Multimedia research group (www.iam.ecs.soton.ac.uk) and will work with Professor Nick Jennings and Dr Alex Rogers. The successful candidate will join an internationally renowned team applying techniques from game theory, mechanism design, and multi-agent systems to a range of complex real- world problems. The Energy Systems post is for three years and the Aladdin post is for two years.
