Title: State- and Gate-Teleportation with applications for the Continuous-Variable Cluster-Quantum-Computer
Date: Thursday 19 June 2014
Time: 16:00-17:00
Location: CWI Room L016, Science Park 123, Amsterdam

Abstract

This talk gives an introduction to cluster quantum computing with continuous variables and explains arising problems. The main focus is on the new results using a linear cluster state with finite squeezing, instead of infinite squeezing. The occurring errors can be tuned to an amplitude damping channel during the state-teleportation, but also during the gate-teleportation, if an active correction operator is applied. This is the first step to a full 2-dimensional quantum computer with continuous variables.
