Abstract:
This is a Dutch language commentary on a recent proposal made by David Atkinson and Jeanne Peijnenburg for allowing infinitely regressing chains of justifications that bestow positive probabilistic support on given initial propositions in an interesting and consistent manner. We relate this proposal to current (fixed-point) logics for recursion and infinite streams, and we also discuss how the classical notion of justification can profitably be seen as a dynamic process, rather than a static relation between propositions.
