Truth Maker Semantics and Modal Information Logic Johan van Benthem Abstract: This is a short note written after attending a spring seminar taught by Kit Fine at Stanford, looking at some of the material presented there from the standpoint of a modal logician. I provide a faithful translation from propositional truth maker logic into an earlier modal logic of information spaces, and discuss what this tells us from a mathematical and a philosophical perspective. There are no extensive references, Fine’s relevant work is on his webpage.
