The purpose of the International Conference on Agents and Artific ial Intelligence is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the the ory and applications in the areas of Agents and Ar tificial Intelligence. Two simultaneous related tr acks will be held, covering both applications and current research work. One track focuses on Agents , Multi-Agent Systems and Software Platforms, Dist ributed Problem Solving and Distributed AI in gene ral. The other track focuses mainly on Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Representation, Planning, Learning, Scheduling, Perception Reactive AI Syste ms, and Evolutionary Computing and other topics re lated to Intelligent Systems and Computational Int elligence.

f a Regular Paper, representing completed and vali

pic areas.
