DESCRIPTION:We are going to exceed the boundaries 
 of mathematics again, and examine issues surroundi
 ng mathematics and its pedagogy together with rese
 archers from all over the world who represent not 
 only different scientific disciplines, but also di
 fferent cultures, and thus may bring fresh perspec
 tives to our discussions. We warmly invite especia
 lly mathematicians, mathematics educators, psychol
 ogists, philosophers and teachers of mathematics w
 ho are interested in transforming mathematics educ
 ation and making it better for all the students.  
 The conference program will include plenary lectur
 es, extended presentations, thematic working sessi
 ons, workshops and a poster session.  To submit yo
 ur proposal, please, send us the title of your tal
 k together with its abstract (up to 250 words). Ea
 ch proposal has to refer to mathematics or its app
 lications and address issues related to pure mathe
 matics or mathematics education. After receiving a
 ll your submissions the Organizing Committee will 
 group them in order to form Thematic Working Sessi
 ons.  We especially encourage all the participants
  to reflect on the psychological concept of transg
 ression. Proposals bringing in some new understand
 ings of this concept and its relation to mathemati
 cs are especially welcome.
