DESCRIPTION:It?s an honor and a pleasure to host F
 rances Egan and Robert Matthews in Bochum to deliv
 er the next Rudolf-Carnap-Lecture series. They wil
 l present two talks each, as always in the context
  of a Graduate workshop where several PhD students
  and Postdocs will also have the chance to present
  their ideas on themes associated with the topics 
 of the lectures.  Several PhD-student or early Pos
 tdoc presentations (constraint: PhD finished 2016 
 or later) are planned.  In addition we have room f
 or one or two experienced Postdoc presentations Ph
 D finished 2012 or later). Therefore, we invite Ph
 D students and Postdocs to submit abstracts (max. 
 1000 words), making thesis and argument transparen
 t. The topic should be related to the main theme o
 f the workshop in a loose sense. Papers will be se
 lected based on a blind review process.
