DESCRIPTION:FG 2019 is the 24th conference on Form
 al Grammar, to be held in conjunction with the Eur
 opean Summer School in Logic, Language and Informa
 tion which, in 2019, will take place at University
  of Latvia, Riga, Latvia. FG provides a forum for 
 the presentation of new and original research on f
 ormal grammar, mathematical linguistics and the ap
 plication of formal and mathematical methods to th
 e study of natural language.  We invite *electroni
 c* submissions of original, 16-page papers (includ
 ing references and possible technical appendices).
  Papers should report original work which was not 
 presented in other conferences. However, simultane
 ous submission is allowed, provided that the autho
 rs indicate other conferences to which the work wa
 s submitted in a footnote. Note that accepted pape
 rs can only be presented in one of the venues.
