This is t he main annual summer school in the area of multia gent systems, intended for both PhD and MSc studen ts.
\n\nThe main goal of the European Agen t Systems Summer School is to provide an exchange of knowledge among individuals and groups interest ed in various aspects of autonomous systems. This dissemination is provided by formal state-of-the-a rt courses conducted by leading experts in the fie ld and by informal meetings during the event. A ty pical course is 4 hours long and provides a genera l introduction to the selected topic followed by i n-depth exposition of recent and relevant contribu tions. Both the practical and theoretical aspects of Multi-Agent Systems are within the scope of EAS SS.
\nWe invite proposals fro m members of the research community who are willin g to offer tutorials at EASSS 2019. We are interes ted in tutorial proposals in all areas of current research in Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Syst ems. As a very rough guideline, any topic that mig ht be covered at the AAMAS conference or in the JA AMAS journal would be suitable for EASSS. We aim f or a mix of tutorials on fundamental and well-esta blished topics, as well as overviews of new and em erging areas of research.
\n\nTutorials sh ould cover an appropriate selection of approaches and not specifically focus on the tutors' own cont ributions. Besides providing a coherent overview o f a specific research topic, we specifically encou rage tutorial proposals to articulate a clear link to applications and pragmatic consideration of th e fundamental topics presented. We encourage both well-established senior researchers and younger co lleagues to submit proposals.
