DESCRIPTION:The Centre for Logic and Philosophy of
  Science (CLPS) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel 
 (VUB) will host its Third Masterclass in the Philo
 sophy of Mathematical Practice on June, 19-21 with
  Prof. Dr. Marcus Giaquinto. We intend the Masterc
 lass to be a fully interactive event, with the two
 fold objective to understand in depth the material
 s presented in the lectures, and to provide early 
 career researchers (PhD students and Postdocs) wit
 h an opportunity to discuss their ongoing work in 
 a helpful and constructive environment.  The Maste
 rclass will be composed of three lectures. The lec
 tures by Marcus Giaquinto will take place in the m
 ornings, and will be followed by afternoon session
 s with presentations by early career researchers i
 n the Philosophy of Mathematical Practice.  We inv
 ite early career researchers who would be interest
 ed to present their work to send us an abstract of
  at most 1 page by April, 1st. The talks will be o
 f a duration of around 20 minutes (not including d
 iscussion).
