DESCRIPTION:The biennial DEON workshops are design
 ed to promote cooperation among scholars across di
 sciplines who are interested in deontic logic and 
 its use in computer science. These workshops tradi
 tionally support research linking the formal-logic
 al study of normative concepts and normative syste
 ms with computer science, artificial intelligence,
  philosophy, organisation theory and law. In addit
 ion to these general themes, DEON2006 will encoura
 ge a special focus on the topic "Artificial Normat

 mit an original, previously unpublished, research 
 paper pertaining to any of these topics. The deadl
