DESCRIPTION:SLSP is a yearly conference series aim
 ed at promoting and displaying excellent research 
 on the wide spectrum of statistical methods that a
 re currently in use in computational language or s
 peech processing. It aims at attracting contributi
 ons from both fields. Though there exist large con
 ferences and workshops hosting contributions to an
 y of these areas, SLSP is a more focused meeting w
 here synergies between the two domains will hopefu
 lly happen. In SLSP 2019, significant room will be
  reserved to young scholars at the beginning of th
 eir career and particular focus will be put on met
 hodology.  SLSP 2019 will consist of invited talks
 , peer-reviewed contributions and posters.  The co
 nference invites submissions discussing the employ
 ment of statistical models (including machine lear
 ning) within language and speech processing. Autho
 rs are invited to submit non-anonymized papers in 
 English presenting original and unpublished resear
 ch. Papers should not exceed 12 single-spaced page
 s (all included) and should be prepared according 
 to the standard format for Springer Verlag's LNCS 
 series.
