DESCRIPTION:The aim of the workshop is to bring to
 gether some of the leading scholars of Buddhist (a
 nd Indian) logic and contemporary philosophers of 
 logic in order to foster interdisciplinary interac
 tions between them. Each session will consist of a
  presentation by an internationally renowned Buddh
 ist or Indian scholar followed by a presentation b
 y a philosopher of an international research profi
 le who will not just comment on the previous prese
 ntation but develop or challenge the ideas present
 ed by the previous presentation. The workshop will
  be a real interaction between the scholars of Bud
 dhist (and Indian) logic and philosophers of logic
  who are not familiar with Buddhist material.  Spe
