With a special focus on 'methods and tools for explainable AI', a core objective of ZJULogAI is to present the latest developments and progress ma de on the crucial question of how to make AI more transparent, trustworthy and accountable, both in China as well as in the rest of the world. All par ticipants to CLAR 2020 have access to all other ev ents of ZJULogAI as well. CLAR 2020 conference hi ghlights recent advances in the two fields of logi c and argumentation and promotes communication bet ween researchers in logic and argumentation within and outside China. CLAR 2020 invites interdiscip linary contributions from logic, artificial intell igence, philosophy, computer science, linguistics, law, and other areas studying logic and formal ar gumentation. We invite two types of submissions: f ull papers (between 8 and 20 pages) describing ori ginal and unpublished work and extended abstracts (max 5 pages) of preliminary original work or exte nded abstracts of already published work, from eit her the field of logic or the field of formal argu mentation. Proceedings with accepted submissions will be available during the conference, and exten ded versions will be published after the conferenc e in special issues of the Journal of Logic and Co mputation and the Journal of Applied Logics.
