  (CiE 2020), Online
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20200629
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20200703
LOCATION:Online
DESCRIPTION:CiE 2020 is the 16th conference organi
zed by CiE (Computability in Europe), a European a
 ssociation of mathematicians, logicians, computer
scientists, philosophers, physicists and others in
terested in new developments in computability and
their underlying significance for the real world.
The CiE conferences serve as an interdisciplinary
forum for research in all aspects of computabilit
y, foundations of computer science, logic, and the
oretical computer science, as well as the interpla
y of these areas with practical issues in computer
science and with other disciplines such as biolog
y, mathematics, philosophy, or physics. Due to th
e current medical situation related to the coronav
irus COVID-19 outbreak, the Organizing Committee o
f CiE2020, in agreement with the CiE Steering Comm
ittee, has decided to hold the conference virtuall
y, without a physical gathering. The organizers ar
e committed to recreate the usual CiE climate unde
r the new conditions. The Programme Committee cor
dially invites all researchers (European and non-E
uropean) to submit their papers in all areas relat
ed to the conference for presentation at the confe
rence and inclusion in the proceedings of CiE 2020
at EasyChair. Papers must be submitted in PDF fo
rmat, using the LNCS style and must have a maximum
of 12 pages, including references but excluding a
possible appendix in which one can include proofs
and other additional material. Papers building br
idges between different parts of the research comm
 unity are particularly welcome.
