Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KRR) is an exciting , well-established field of research. In KRR a fun damental assumption is that an agent's knowledge i s explicitly represented in a declarative form, su itable for processing by dedicated reasoning engin es. This assumption, that much of what an agent de als with is knowledge-based, is common in many mod ern intelligent systems. In recent years KRR has c ontributed to new and emerging fields including th e semantic web, computational biology, and the dev elopment of software agents. The biennial Internat ional Conference on the Principles of Knowledge Re presentation and Reasoning (KR) is a leading forum for timely, in-depth presentation of progress in the theory and principles underlying the represent ation and computational management of knowledge.\n\n
Due to the latest developments in Greec e with the COVID19 pandemic, the hybrid format (ph ysical and virtual participation) that was planned for KR2020 in September has been canceled. The ne w format, and possibly new dates, for KR2020 will be announced shortly.
\nFor i ts 2020 edition, KR will solicit proposals for bot h the Tutorial and Workshop tracks. Tutorials and workshops will be held prior to the KR main techni cal program, which will run from 12th to 18th of S eptember 2020. The attendance of tutorials is comp limentary to all KR registered participants. Works hop attendance will be subject to payment of a wor kshop fee, which is separate from that of the main conference.
