SUMMARY:11th International Conference on Computati
 onal Creativity (ICCC'20), Online
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20200907
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20200911
LOCATION:Online
DESCRIPTION:Computational Creativity (or CC) is a
discipline with its roots in Artificial Intelligen
ce, Cognitive Science, Engineering, Design, Psycho
logy and Philosophy that explores the potential fo
r computers to be autonomous creators in their own
right. ICCC is an annual conference that welcomes
papers on different aspects of CC, on systems tha
t exhibit varying degrees of creative autonomy, on
frameworks that offer greater clarity or computat
ional felicity for thinking about machine (and hum
an) creativity, on methodologies for building or e
valuating CC systems, on approaches to teaching CC
in schools and universities or to promoting socie
tal uptake of CC as a field and as a technology, a
nd so on. The evolution of the COVID-19 crisis, t
he concerns about safety and well-being of the par
ticipants and the current travel constraints have
taken the organisation of turning ICCC’20 100% dig
ital. Original research contributions are solicit
ed in all areas related to Computational Creativit
y research and practice. Papers on computational p
aradigms of all kinds - from symbolic to statistic
al to deep learning models, as well as hybrid appr
oaches - are welcome, provided they address pertin
ent aspects of CC. We welcome the submission of fi
ve different types of papers: Technical papers, Sy
stem or Resource description papers, Study papers,
Cultural application papers and Position papers.
Additionally, we are looking for tutorial proposa
ls to be held along with the main conference. We w
elcome proposals covering between one and four 120
-minute sessions, and addressing any aspect of com
putational creativity research. Each proposal will
  be evaluated by independent reviewers.
