SUMMARY:ICCL Summer School 2006: Knowledge Structu
 res, TU Dresden, Germany
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20060624
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20060708
LOCATION:TU Dresden, Germany
DESCRIPTION:It is common wisdom that the still gro
wing power of digital data processing greatly enha
nces the wealth of human knowledge and will contin
ue to do so. A precondition for this is, however,
that knowledge is encoded and represented in a com
puter-accessible manner, such that it can be algor
ithmically processed. This requires, in turn, the
use of appropriate formal structures for knowledge
representation and knowledge processing. Such str
uctures, called `Knowledge Structures', will be th
e topic of this year's ICCL summer school. Deadl
ine for registration: 18 March 2006. For more info
rmation, an online registration form and a prelimi
 nary program, see http://www.computational-logic.o
rg/iccl-ss-2006. It will be possible for some p
articipants to present their research work during
a small workshop integrated in the summer school.
If you would like to do so, please register by mea
ns of the online workshop registration form on the
web page mentioned below, and submit an extended
 abstract by March 18, 2006.
