DESCRIPTION:The São Paulo School of Advanced Scien
 ce on Contemporary Logic, Rationality and Informat
 ion – SpLogIC – is promoted by the Centre for Logi
 c, Epistemology and the History of Science (CLE) o
 f the University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, to
  be held from July 13th to 24th, 2020. The program
  comprises nine courses and nine plenary talks min
 istered in English by experts in each topic, as we
 ll as oral presentations (LED Talks) and poster se
 ssions delivered by students.  Undergraduate and g
 raduate students, and postdoctoral fellows (up to 
 5 years after completion of the Ph.D) from all cou
 ntries are encouraged to apply. The event will sel
 ect 100 fully-funded participants (50 grantees fro
 m all states of Brazil and 50 international grante
 es). Funding includes airfare, medical insurance, 
 accommodation and meals throughout the event.  Pri
 ority will be given to candidates currently enroll
 ed in graduate programs (Masters/M.Sc. and Doctora
 te/Ph.D.) and currently developing a thesis or dis
 sertation in the fields of the event. The applican
 t’s country of origin will also be taken into cons
 ideration, in order to include participants from a
 ll continents.  Due to the measures taken regardin
 g the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing and Adviso
 ry Committees decided to postpone the realization 
 of the São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Log
 ic, Rationality, and Information – SPLogIC.
