The 3rd I nternational Workshop of User-Oriented Logic Parad igms (IULP) focuses on discussing different aspect s involved in making logic paradigms more user-fri endly/oriented, where the "user" could b e either an expert of the paradigm, or a non-exper t who simply uses tools developed for the paradigm in some application. IULP aims to bring together researchers working on different logic paradigms, such as answer set programming, constraint logic p rogramming, probabilistic logic programming, abduc tive logic programming, inductive logic programmin g, argumentation, principles of teaching etc., as user- friendliness is an important topic in all of these areas.
\n\nIULP, collocated with th e 24th European Conference on Artificial Intellige nce (ECAI2020), aims to provide an international f orum for researchers in the AI, KR, and applied sc iences community to discuss and present advances i n theories, formalisms, and applications to delive r the mature and well-defined methods of logic par adigms to a wider audience.
\nWe solicit the submission of papers broadly centr ed on issues and research related to user-friendli ness in logic paradigms and related fields. We wel come papers of either theoretical or practical nat ure, including work in progress. We encourage the submission of original research on all topics as w ell as relevant results that have been submitted o r accepted elsewhere provided that the initial pub lication is mentioned in a footnote on the first p age.
