DESCRIPTION:WatchDial will be the 24th edition of 
 the SemDial workshop series, which aims to bring t
 ogether researchers working on the semantics and p
 ragmatics of dialogue in fields such as formal sem
 antics and pragmatics, computational linguistics, 
 artificial intelligence, philosophy, psychology, a
 nd neuroscience. In 2020 the workshop will be host
 ed by the programs in Linguistics and in Computati
 onal Linguistics, in collaboration with the depart
 ments of Computer Science and Philosophy at Brande
 is University, and will be collocated with the Nor
 th American Summer School in Logic, Language, and 
 Information.  We invite papers on all topics relat
 ed to the semantics and pragmatics of dialogue, in
 cluding, but not limited to: the dynamics of agent
 s' information states in dialogue common ground/mu
 tual belief goals, intentions and commitments in c
 ommunication turn-taking and interaction control s
 emantic/pragmatic interpretation in dialogue dialo
 gue and discourse structure categorisation of dial
 ogue phenomena in corpora child-adult interaction 
 language learning through dialogue gesture, gaze, 
 and intonational meaning in communication multimod
 al dialogue interpretation and reasoning in spoken
  dialogue systems dialogue management designing an
 d evaluating dialogue systems  Note that SEMDIAL 2
 020 cannot accept work for publication or presenta
 tion that will be (or has been) published elsewher
