SUMMARY:10th International Conference on Non-Class
ical Logics, Theory & Applications (NCL'22), Łódź,
  Poland
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20220314
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20220318
LOCATION:Łódź, Poland
DESCRIPTION:The Conference - devoted to non-classi
cal logics - was initially held in Łódź in Septemb
er 2008 and 2009. The conference serves as a forum
to effectively exchange novel results and to surv
ey works in widely understood non-classical logics
and their applications. This year's tenth edition
of the Conference will be an occasion to celebrate
the 50th anniversary of the logic journal Bulleti
n of the Section of Logic, established in 1971. D
uring this year's edition of the conference there
will be two special sessions: a session devoted to
formal ontology, broadly conceived, and a special
session in memoriam J. Michael Dunn who passed aw
ay on April, 5, 2021. Due to the current situatio
n concerning COVID-19 and very uncertain predictio
ns about what will happen in the autumn, after sev
eral consultations the organizers of the conferenc
e decided to postpone it until the year 2022. We w
ant the event to keep its on-site character, which
, however, requires that the pandemic is overcome.
The conference date has been changed to 14-18.03.
2022 and hopefully it will not have to be subject
to further revision. Participants are requested t
o submit their papers on all topics relevant to th
e conference. Topics of either theoretical or appl
ied interest include, but are not limited to: many
-valued logics, modal logics, non-monotonic logics
, paraconsistent logics, plausible reasoning, subs
 tructural logics, contra-classical logics, relevan
t and connexive logics, and/or description logics.
Contributions from other related areas such as: c
ognitive science, computer science, foundations of
mathematics, philosophy of language, and/or philo
sophy of mind, are also welcome. Cross-cutting con
tributions are particularly welcome. Articles sho
uld be in English, written in the EPTCS format. .
They must not exceed 12 pages excluding references
  and clearly marked appendices.
