DESCRIPTION:The workshop on rationality and knowle
 dge intends to bring together researchers from a w
 ide variety of fields - including Artificial Intel
 ligence, Cryptography, Distributed Computing, Econ
 omics and Game Theory, Linguistics, Logic, Philoso
 phy, and Psychology, in order to further our under
 standing of interdisciplinary issues involving rea
 soning about rationality and knowledge.   Invited 
 speakers are Johan van Benthem (Amsterdam/Stanford
 ) and Remzi Sanver (Istanbul Bilgi University).   
  The workshop is part of ESSLLI 2006 and is open t
 o all ESSLLI participants. It will consist of five
  90-minute sessions held over five consecutive day
 s in the second week of ESSLLI. There will be 2 or
  3 slots for paper presentation and discussion per

 ited to submit an extended abstract describing ori
 ginal work. The accepted papers will appear in the
