DESCRIPTION:Arguments vary in strength. The streng
th of an argument is affected by e.g. the plausibi
lity of its premises, the nature of the link betwe
en its premises and conclusion, and the prior acce
ptability of the conclusion. The aim of this works
hop is to bring together experts from the fields o
f artificial intelligence, philosophy, logic, and
argumentation theory to discuss questions related
to the strength of arguments. Originally planned
for 2020 in Koblenz, Germany, after consideration
the organizers decided to postpone the workshop in
light of the current COVID-19 crisis, and hold it
online. We solicit abstracts, which have to be i
n English and formatted according to the Springer
LNCS style. Extended abstracts (2 pages max., incl
uding references) can report on research in progre
ss or other issues of interest. Submissions are ha
ndled through the EasyChair conference management
 system.
