CiE 2021 is the seventeenth conference organized by the Ass ociation Computability in Europe. The 'Computabili ty in Europe' conference (CiE) series has built up a strong tradition for developing a scientific pr ogram which is interdisciplinary at its core bring ing together all aspects of computability and foun dations of computer science, as well as the interp lay of these theoretical areas with practical issu es in CS and other disciplines such as biology, ma thematics, history, philosophy, and physics.
\n \nDue to the current pandemic CiE 2021 will b e held as a virtual conference. CiE 2021 will be t he second CiE conference that is organized as a vi rtual event and aims at a high-quality meeting tha t allows and invites active participation from all participants. It will be hosted virtually by Ghen t University.
\nThe Programme Committee cordially invites all researchers (Euro pean and non-European) to submit their papers in c omputability related areas for presentation at the conference and inclusion in the proceedings. Pape rs building bridges between different parts of the research community are particularly welcome. Pape rs should be in English and anonymized. They must be submitted in PDF format, using the LNCS style a nd should have a maximum of 10 pages. Deadline: 17 jan 2021.
\n\nContinuing the tradition of past CiE conferences, in addition to the formal p resentations based on the LNCS proceedings volume, CiE 2021 will host a track of informal presentati ons, that are prepared very shortly before the con ference and inform the participants about current research and work in progress. The deadline for th e submission of abstracts for informal presentatio ns is May 15th, 2021.
