SUMMARY:ICAART Session "Natural Language Processin
g in Artificial Intelligence" (NLPinAI 2021), Onli
 ne
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20210204
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20210206
LOCATION:Online
DESCRIPTION:Computational and technological develo
pments that incorporate natural language are proli
ferating. Adequate coverage encounters difficult p
 roblems related to partiality, underspecification,
and context-dependency, which are signature featu
res of information in nature and natural languages
. Furthermore, agents (humans or computational sys
tems) are information conveyors, interpreters, or
participate as components of informational content
. Generally, language processing depends on agents
' knowledge, reasoning, perspectives, and interact
ions. The session covers theoretical work, appli
cations, approaches, and techniques for computatio
nal models of information and its presentation by
language (artificial, human, or natural in other w
ays). The goal is to promote computational systems
of intelligent natural language processing and re
lated models of thought, mental states, reasoning,
and other cognitive processes. We invite contrib
utions relevant to the following topics. All accep
ted papers will be published in a special section
of the conference proceedings bookm and be made av
ailable at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library.
