DESCRIPTION:CSR is an annual international confere
nce held in Russia that is designed to cover a bro
ad range of topics in Theoretical Computer Science
. Topics include, but are not limited to: (i) alg
orithms and data structures (ii) computational com
plexity, including hardness of approximation and p
arameterized complexity (iii) randomness in comput
 ing, approximation algorithms, fixed-parameter alg
 orithms (iv) combinatorial optimization, constrain
t satisfaction, operations research (v) computatio
nal geometry (vi) string algorithms (vii) formal l
anguages and automata, including applications to c
omputational linguistics (viii) codes and cryptogr
aphy (ix) combinatorics in computer science (x) co
mputational biology (xi) applications of logic to
computer science, proof complexity (xii) database
theory (xiii) distributed computing (xiv) fundamen
tals of machine learning, including learning theor
y, grammatical inference and neural computing (xv)
computational social choice (xvi) quantum computi
ng and quantum cryptography (xvii) theoretical asp
ects of big data. Opening lecture: Tim Roughgarde
n (Columbia University, USA). Authors are invited
to submit an extended abstract or a full paper of
at most 12 pages in English, not including refere
nces, in the LNCS format (LaTeX, as pdf; final ver
sion with source). Proofs and other material omit
ted due to space constraints are to be put into a
clearly marked appendix to be read at discretion o
f the referees. Papers must present original (and
not previously published) research. Simultaneous s
ubmission to journals or to other conferences with
published proceedings is not allowed. The proceed
ings of the symposium will be published in Springe
 r's LNCS series.
