DESCRIPTION:Diagrams 2021 is the twelth conference
in the series that started in 2000. The multidisc
iplinary nature of Diagrams means it encompasses:
 architecture, art, artificial intelligence, biolog
y, cartography, cognitive science, computer scienc
e, education, graphic design, history of science,
 human-computer interaction, linguistics, logic, ma
thematics, philosophy, psychology, and software mo
delling. The conference attracts a large number of
researchers from these interrelated fields, posit
ioning Diagrams as the major international event i
n the area. In addition to the Philosophy track,
Diagrams 2021 will have two further tracks: Main,
and Psychology and Education. The conference will
include presentations of refereed Papers, Abstrac
ts, and Posters, alongside a graduate symposium. W
e invite submissions for peer review that focus on
any aspect of diagrams research, as follows: Long
Papers (16 pages), Abstracts (3 pages), Short Pap
ers (8 pages), Posters (4 pages). If the main rese
arch contribution of your submission is considered
to fit either of the special tracks then you are
strongly encouraged to submit to that track. We a
lso invite proposals for tutorials of 1.5 hours in
length. Tutorials are expected to address topics
that are of interest to the Diagrams 2021 conferen
ce attendees. Tutorials differ from workshops in t
hat they do not solicit contributions from attende
es. Previously, attendees have particularly enjoye
d tutorials that are interactive and spark debate.
Tutorial submission deadline: April 30, 2021.
