SUMMARY:Third Biennial Conference on Language, Dat
a and Knowledge (LDK2021), Zaragoza (Spain) and vi
 rtual

LOCATION:Zaragoza (Spain) and virtual
DESCRIPTION:This conference aims at bringing toget
her researchers from across disciplines concerned
with the acquisition, curation and use of language
data in the context of data science and knowledge
-based applications. This builds upon the success
of the inaugural event held in Galway, Ireland in
2017 and the second LDK in Leipzig, Germany in 201
 9. In order to allow more people to attend the Co
nference physically, and due to the current state
in the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, we decided to
postpone LDK 2021 to early September. The conferen
ce will allow remote presentations by participants
who cannot attend the conference in person owing
to COVID-19 travelling restrictions, but we do thi
nk that physical encounter and gossip leads to bet
ter research. We welcome submission of relevance
to the topics listed below. Submissions can be in
 the form of:  * Long research papers: 10-15 pages;
   * Short research or position papers: 6-8 pages;
  * Short scientific abstract submissions: be 4-6 p
ages. * Short abstracts on new challenges and res
earch ideas ('Crazy New Ideas'): 1-4 pages. This
year, we would like to propose a 'Crazy New Ideas'
session that will be the occasion to present chal
lenging research ideas that have not yet been full
y explored, or you would like to see in ten years
from now. Such ideas should be briefly presented i
n the form of a short abstract of one to four page
s to initiate the discussions, which will also be
included in the conference proceedings if permitte
d by the authors. This is your chance to be creati
ve without censorship. Reviews for these abstract
will focus on the potential of ideas to spark inte
resting discussions. Topics include Language Data
, Knowledge Graphs, Applications for Language, Dat
a and Knowledge, and Use Cases in Language, Data a
 nd Knowledge.
