This conf erence aims at bringing together researchers from across disciplines concerned with the acquisition, curation and use of language data in the context of data science and knowledge-based applications. This builds upon the success of the inaugural even t held in Galway, Ireland in 2017 and the second L DK in Leipzig, Germany in 2019.
\n\nIn ord er to allow more people to attend the Conference p hysically, and due to the current state in the COV ID-19 pandemic in Europe, we decided to postpone L DK 2021 to early September. The conference will al low remote presentations by participants who canno t attend the conference in person owing to COVID-1 9 travelling restrictions, but we do think that ph ysical encounter and gossip leads to better resear ch.

This yea r, we would like to propose a 'Crazy New Ideas' se ssion that will be the occasion to present challen ging research ideas that have not yet been fully e xplored, or you would like to see in ten years fro m now. Such ideas should be briefly presented in t he form of a short abstract of one to four pages t o initiate the discussions, which will also be inc luded in the conference proceedings if permitted b y the authors. This is your chance to be creative without censorship. Reviews for these abstract wil l focus on the potential of ideas to spark interes ting discussions.
