DESCRIPTION:The aim of the COMSOC workshop series
is to bring together different communities: comput
er scientists interested in computational issues i
n social choice; people working in artificial inte
lligence and multiagent systems who are using idea
s from social choice to organise societies of arti
ficial software agents; logicians interested in th
e logic-based specification and analysis of social
procedures; and last but not least people coming
from social choice theory itself. Submissions of
papers describing original, under review, or recen
tly published work on all aspects of computational
social choice are invited. We welcome theoretical
, empirical and experimental work on the conferenc
e topics, including, in particular, research on al
 gorithms (exact, approximate, parameterized, onlin
e and distributed), learning, logic, and simulatio
ns in the context of social choice.
