DESCRIPTION:Logics of dependence and independence 
 are novel extensions of classical logics aiming at
  characterizing dependence and independence notion
 s in sciences. This field of research has grown ra
 pidly in recent years. The framework of the logics
  has found applications also in fields like databa
 se theory, linguistics, social choice, quantum phy
 sics and so on. This workshop will bring together 
 researchers from all these relevant areas and prov
 ide a snapshot of the state of the art of logics o
 f dependence and independence.  This workshop is o
 rganized as part of the 32nd European Summer Schoo
 l in Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI 2021)
 : https://www.esslli.eu. The workshop has a 2-day 
 program. The exact dates will be announced soon, s
 ee ESSLLI homepage for updates.  We invite submiss
 ions of 1-page abstracts of contributed talks. Abs
 tracts must be submitted electronically through Ea
