Its aim is to bring together active researchers in this broad field within knowledge representation and reasoni ng (KR), including belief revision, uncertain reas oning, reasoning about actions, planning, logic pr ogramming, preferences, argumentation, causality, and many other related topics including systems an d applications. NMR-21 will be co-located with th e International Conference on Principles of Knowle dge Representation and Reasoning (KR 2021). NMR-2 021 invites contributions from the area of nonmono tonic, defeasible and default reasoning within the field of knowledge representation and reasoning ( KR), including in particular belief revision, unce rtain reasoning, reasoning about actions, planning , logic programming, preferences, argumentation, c ausality, and many other related topics including systems and applications. The accepted papers wil l be published as a technical report and will be m ade available in the Computing Research Repository (CoRR) (https://arxiv.org/corr). Papers should be at most 10 pages in AAAI style including referenc es, figures and appendices, if any. Papers already published or accepted for publication at other co nferences are also welcome, provided that the orig inal publication is mentioned in a footnote on the first page. In the same vein, papers under review for other conferences can be submitted with a sim ilar indication on their front page.
