Reasoning and Interaction (ReInAct) is a conference organiz ed by the Centre for Linguistic Theory and Studies in Probability (CLASP), at the Department of Philo sophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science (FLoV). It is sponsored by SIGSEM, the ACL special inter est group on semantics. The ReInAct conference pro ceedings will be published online in the ACL Antho logy for 2021 as a SIGSEM workshop event.
\n\nReInAct will bring together researchers intere sted in computationally relevant approaches to rea soning and interaction in natural language. ReInAc t is open to Machine Learning, Symbolic and Experi mental approaches, as well as combinations of thes e. ReInAct will also involve a shared task on Dialogue Natural Lan guage Inference (DNLI).
\nWe welcome all computational and/or computationally r elevant approaches to reasoning and interaction in natural language. Papers are invited on topics in these and closely related areas.
\n\nReIn Act2021 will feature three types of submissions: l ong papers, student papers, and short papers. Long papers must describe original research, and they must not exceed 8 pages excluding references. Stud ent papers describe original research, and the fir st author must be a student, or at least 2/3 of th e work on a paper should be done by students. Stud ent papers must not exceed 6 pages excluding refer ences. Short papers present work in progress, or t hey describe systems and/or projects. They must no t exceed 4 pages excluding references. Position pa pers are also accepted. These should be formatted in the same way as long papers. Submissions should be pdf files and use the Latex or Word templates provided for ACL 2021 submissions.
