LOCATION:Virtual and Goeteborg, Sweden
DESCRIPTION:Reasoning and Interaction (ReInAct) is
a conference organized by the Centre for Linguist
ic Theory and Studies in Probability (CLASP), at t
he Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theor
y of Science (FLoV). It is sponsored by SIGSEM, th
e ACL special interest group on semantics. The ReI
nAct conference proceedings will be published onli
ne in the ACL Anthology for 2021 as a SIGSEM works
hop event. ReInAct will bring together researcher
s interested in computationally relevant approache
s to reasoning and interaction in natural language
. ReInAct is open to Machine Learning, Symbolic an
d Experimental approaches, as well as combinations
of these. ReInAct will also involve a shared task
on Dialogue Natural Language Inference (DNLI). W
e welcome all computational and/or computationally
relevant approaches to reasoning and interaction
in natural language. Papers are invited on topics
in these and closely related areas. ReInAct2021 w
ill feature three types of submissions: long paper
s, student papers, and short papers. Long papers m
ust describe original research, and they must not
exceed 8 pages excluding references. Student paper
s describe original research, and the first author
must be a student, or at least 2/3 of the work on
a paper should be done by students. Student paper
s must not exceed 6 pages excluding references. Sh
ort papers present work in progress, or they descr
ibe systems and/or projects. They must not exceed
4 pages excluding references. Position papers are
also accepted. These should be formatted in the sa
