SUMMARY:CP 2006 (Constraint Programming), Nantes,
 France
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20060925
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20060929
LOCATION:Nantes, France
DESCRIPTION:The CP conference is the annual intern
ational conference on constraint programming and r
elated areas. It is concerned with all aspects of
computing with constraints, including: theory, alg
 orithms, applications, environments, languages, mo
dels and systems. CP 2006 includes a technical pro
gramme, where presentations of theoretical and app
lication papers, as well as invited talks, tutoria
ls, posters and system demos aim at describing the
best results and techniques in the state-of-the-a
rt of constraint programming. Moreover, CP 2006 co
ntinues the tradition of the CP doctoral programme
, in which PhD students can present their work, li
sten to tutorials on career and ethical issues, an
d discuss their work with senior researchers via a
mentoring scheme. Finally, there will also be a n
umber of workshops, where researchers will be able
to meet in an informal setting and discuss their
most recent ideas with their peers. For more inf
 ormation, see http://www.sciences.univ-nantes.fr/c
p06/ Papers are solicited from all disciplines c
oncerned with constraints and any application doma
in using constraints. Example topics include probl
em modelling, problem solving, efficiency and usab
ility. Papers which report on successful applicati
ons of constraint technology are also solicited. S
ubmission deadline is April 21, 2006.
