DESCRIPTION:The symposium covers research in the u
 se, design and analysis of efficient algorithms an
 d data structures in computer science, discrete ap
 plied mathematics, operations research and mathema
 tical programming. It has two tracks, which deal r
 espectively with:  - the design and mathematical a
 nalysis of algorithms (the "Design and Analysis" t
 rack);  - real-world applications, engineering and
  experimental analysis of algorithms (the "Enginee
 ring and Applications" track).  ESA 2006 is organi
 sed in the context of ALGO 2006.   For more inform

 presenting original research in all areas of algor
 ithmic research are sought. Submissions are especi
 ally encouraged in the areas of mathematical progr
 amming and operations research. Submission deadlin
