(CiE 2022): Revolutions and revelations in comput
 ability, Swansea, Wales
DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20220711
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20220715
LOCATION:Swansea, Wales
DESCRIPTION:CiE 2022 is the 18th conference organi
zed by CiE (Computability in Europe), a European a
 ssociation of mathematicians, logicians, computer
scientists, philosophers, physicists and others in
terested in new developments in computability and
their underlying significance for the real world.
The CiE conferences serve as an interdisciplinary
forum for research in all aspects of computabilit
y, foundations of computer science, logic, and the
oretical computer science, as well as the interpla
y of these areas with practical issues in computer
science and with other disciplines such as biolog
y, mathematics, philosophy, or physics. CiE 2022 i
s planned as an on-site conference with online ele
ments. The Program Committee cordially invites al
l researchers, European and non-European, to submi
t their papers in all areas related to the confere
nce topics for presentation at the conference and
inclusion in the proceedings of CiE 2022. Papers m
ust be submitted in PDF format, using the LNCS sty
le and must have a maximum of 12 pages, including
references but excluding a possible appendix in wh
ich one can include proofs and other additional ma
terial. Papers building bridges between different
parts of the research community are particularly w
elcome. Deadline: January 28, 2022. Continuing th
e tradition of past CiE conferences, we invite res
earchers to present informal presentations of thei
r recent work. A proposal for an informal presenta
tion must be submitted via EasyChair, using the LN
CS style file (available at https:// www.springer.
 com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceeding
s-guidelines), and be 1 page long; a brief descrip
tion of the results suffices and an abstract is no
t required. Results presented as informal presenta
tions at CiE 2022 may appear or may have appeared
in other conferences with formal proceedings and/o
r in journals. The deadline for the submission of
abstracts for informal presentations is May 10, 20
 22.
