The goal is to bring together researchers w ith an interest in this subject, share research ex periences, promote collaboration, and identify new issues and directions for future research. The F oIKS symposia are a forum for intensive discussion s. Speakers will be given sufficient time to prese nt their ideas and results within the larger conte xt of their research. Furthermore, participants wi ll be asked to prepare a first response to another contribution in order to initiate discussion. Fo IKS 2022 solicits original contributions (as well as extensions of previously published contribution s) dealing with any foundational aspect of informa tion and knowledge systems. This includes submissi ons that apply ideas, theories or methods from spe cific disciplines to information and knowledge sys tems. Examples of such disciplines are discrete ma thematics, logic and algebra, model theory, inform ation theory, complexity theory, algorithmics and computation, statistics, and optimisation, among, of course, many others. For long papers, the sugg ested number of pages is 16, and the maximum numbe r of pages is 18. For short papers, the maximum nu mber of pages is 10. All papers must be original a nd not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
