LNGAI 202 2 is associated with a national key project called 'Research on Logics for New Generation Artificial Intelligence' (2021-2025), supported by the Natio nal Social Science Foundation of China. The main o bjectives of this project are to develop theories and techniques of non-monotonic logics and formal argumentation and apply them to causal reasoning, knowledge graph reasoning, and reasoning about nor ms and values, in an open, dynamic and real enviro nment. Along with the project, we organize annual international workshops that aim at enabling effic ient communication and collaboration between membe rs of the project as well as other researchers who are interested in the topics of this project.
\n\nDue to the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic situations, LNGAI 2022 will be held in a HYBRID format (virtual and physical attendance bot h accepted), but participants from mainland China are supposed to attend on site.
\nWe invite two types of submissions: Full pape rs (within 10 pages excluding bibliography) descri bing original and unpublished work, and Extended a bstracts (within 4 pages excluding bibliography) o f preliminary original work. Additional support ma terial may be included in an appendix, which may b e considered or ignored by the program committee. Submissions must be formatted according to the LaT eX specification that can be downloaded from the w ebsite. Each submitted paper will be peer-reviewed by a panel of PC members based on originality, si gnificance, technical soundness, clarity of exposi tion and relevance for the conference. For each ac cepted paper, at least one author is expected to r egister and present the paper at the workshop.
