DESCRIPTION:LNGAI 2022 is associated with a nation
al key project called 'Research on Logics for New
 Generation Artificial Intelligence' (2021-2025), s
upported by the National Social Science Foundation
of China. The main objectives of this project are
to develop theories and techniques of non-monoton
ic logics and formal argumentation and apply them
to causal reasoning, knowledge graph reasoning, an
d reasoning about norms and values, in an open, dy
namic and real environment. Along with the project
, we organize annual international workshops that
aim at enabling efficient communication and collab
oration between members of the project as well as
other researchers who are interested in the topics
of this project. Due to the uncertainties of the
COVID-19 pandemic situations, LNGAI 2022 will be
held in a HYBRID format (virtual and physical atte
ndance both accepted), but participants from mainl
and China are supposed to attend on site. We invi
te two types of submissions: Full papers (within 1
0 pages excluding bibliography) describing origina
l and unpublished work, and Extended abstracts (wi
thin 4 pages excluding bibliography) of preliminar
y original work. Additional support material may b
e included in an appendix, which may be considered
or ignored by the program committee. Submissions
must be formatted according to the LaTeX specifica
tion that can be downloaded from the website. Each
submitted paper will be peer-reviewed by a panel
of PC members based on originality, significance,
technical soundness, clarity of exposition and rel
evance for the conference. For each accepted paper
, at least one author is expected to register and
present the paper at the workshop.
