The Inter national Conference on Computational Models of Arg ument (COMMA) is a regular forum for presentation and exchange of the latest research results concer ning theory and applications of computational argu mentation. This year the biennial COMMA event will be hosted by the School of Computer Science and I nformatics of the Cardiff University. COMMA 2022 w ill be preceded by the fifth edition of the Summer School on Argumentation (SSA 2022). In addition t o the main conference track, COMMA 2022 will inclu de system demonstrations, as well as workshops dev oted to specific argumentation-related themes.
\nWe invite submission of origin al and unpublished work. Parallel submission to jo urnals or other conferences or workshops with publ ished proceedings is not permitted.
\n\nTh e conference includes a Regular Track and an Innov ative Applications Track. As to the latter, we enc ourage the submission of original papers about inn ovative applications, e.g., in law, medicine, e-de mocracy, risk assessment, intelligent user interfa ces, recommender systems, argument mining etc. Inn ovative applications papers will be assessed in an equally rigorous reviewing procedure as regular t rack papers.
\n\nReviewing is single-blind ed. Paper submission, in PDF format, will be manag ed through EasyChair. The proceedings of the confe rence will be published by IOS Press as an open-ac cess book. Authors should prepare their submission following the instructions given by IOS Press.The length of each submission for both Regular and In novative Applications papers must not exceed 12 pa ges.
