FMKD@JOWO intends to create a space of confluence and a for um for discussion for researchers interested in kn owledge diversity in a wide sense, including diver sity in terms of diverging perspectives, different beliefs, semantic heterogeneity and others. The i mportance of understanding and handling the differ ent forms of diversity that manifest between knowl edge formalisations (ontologies, knowledge bases, or knowledge graphs) is widely recognised and has led to the proposal of a variety of systems of rep resentation, tackling overlapping aspects of this phenomenon.
\nBesides understanding the ph enomenon and considering formal models for the rep resentation of knowledge diversity, we are interes ted in the variety of reasoning problems that emer ge in this context, including jointly reasoning wi th possibly conflicting sources, interpreting know ledge from alternative viewpoints, consolidating t he diversity as uncertainty, reasoning by means of argumentation between the sources and pursuing kn owledge aggregations among others.
\nWe seek three types of contributions: * Fu ll research papers not exceeding 14 pages excludin g the bibliography. * Short papers not exceeding 6 pages excluding the bibliography. * Extended abst racts (presentation only) should be 2-4 pages long including the bibliography. Please, note that ext ended abstracts will not be included in the CEUR p roceedings.
\nAll papers must be original and not submitted to or accepted by any other work shop, conference or journal. For inclusion in the JOWO proceedings, short papers must be at least 5 pages long. All contributions will be peer-reviewe d. Papers should be submitted non-anonymously in P DF format in compliance with the new 1-column CEUR -ART Style. Submissions will be managed via EasyCh air. At least one author of each accepted paper wi ll be required to attend the workshop to present t he contribution.
