 erns all aspects of eliciting, acquiring, modellin
 g and managing knowledge and the role of knowledge
  in the construction of systems and services for t
 he semantic web, knowledge management, e-business,
  natural language processing, intelligent informat
 ion integration, and so on.  EKAW 2022 welcomes lo
 ng and short papers dealing with theoretical, meth
 odological, experimental, and application-oriented
  aspects of knowledge engineering and knowledge ma
 nagement.  We will accept three types of papers:  
 * Research papers (long and short), presenting a n
 ovel method, technique or analysis with appropriat
 e empirical or other types of evaluation as a proo
 f-of-concept.  * In-use papers (long and short) de
 scribing applications of knowledge management and 
 engineering in real environments.  * Position pape
 rs (long and short) which describe novel and innov
 ative ideas, comprise an analysis of currently uns
 olved problems, or review these problems from a ne
 w perspective, in order to contribute to a better 
 understanding of these problems in the research co
 mmunity.
